Job Mission:
Responsible for ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and ISO standards (45001 & 9001). This role focuses on identifying and managing workplace risks, developing and enforcing HSE procedures, and fostering a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
Also tasked with monitoring performance through key metrics, managing incidents and non-conformities, and overseeing emergency preparedness, ultimately ensuring continuous improvement in health, safety, and environmental practices across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with national Health & Safety, Environmental laws, and ISO standards (45001 & 9001), ensuring adherence to applicable regulations and quality management systems.
- Risk Assessment and Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with health, safety, and environmental factors in the workplace.
- Procedure Development and Implementation: Develop, review, and enforce procedures for Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental management, ensuring their effective application across all areas.
- Training and Awareness: Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility by providing training and fostering awareness on health, safety, and environmental risks.
- Environmental and Waste Management: Oversee environmental risk management and ensure proper waste handling procedures are followed to minimize environmental impact.
- Incident Management and Reporting: Support and coordinate the reporting, investigation, and resolution of incidents, accidents, and non-conformities, ensuring continuous improvement in safety practices.
- KPI Monitoring and Continuous Improvement: Monitor and track HSE-related KPIs to assess performance and drive improvements across safety, quality, and environmental management practices.
- Emergency Preparedness: Ensure that emergency plans are in place, up-to-date, and regularly tested to guarantee a swift response to any critical incidents.
