Mission:

Financial Controller Turkey will take ownership of preparing the P&L, ensure data accuracy and provide decision support analysis for the local leadership team. He / she will also manage financial planning processes to build aligned and robust plans to support the strategic intent of the business. Providing leadership to create increased visibility into operational strategy and performance with the goal of driving speed, quality, and cost efficiency. He/she will play a leading part in supporting Eurofragance’s Strategic Plan (STRAP), Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Short Range Outlook (SRO), Demand Firming, Fixed Cost and other Estimating processes.

 

He / she will be exposed to a very dynamic environment, working in close partnership with local and regional business team members.

 

Tasks & Responsibilities:

 

  • Support the monthly closing process and prepare all necessary reports for the P&L and Balance Sheet.
  • Manage payments, collections, and reconciliations with customers and vendors.
  • Execute accounts receivable collection
  • Prepare and update treasury reports, including annual forecasts and monthly updates.
  • Create financial, controlling, and analysis reports, including P&L, profitability, and sales analysis by SKUs.
  • Handle administrative tasks related to accounting and finance.
  • Manage annual audit requirements in collaboration with the local audit firm.
  • Review P&L and balances on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy and validity of financial data.
  • Maintain close relationships with other departments to ensure the understanding and reliability of financial information.
  • Collaborate with the local business team in a dynamic environment.
  • Support administrative tasks related to office facilities and equipment.
  • Percentage of Travel Required Yearly: Once a year, 1 week to headquarters in Barcelona

Requirements

Key Knowledge:

  • BA in Finance, Economics and/or Accounting (MBA preferred)
  • 3-5 years of experience in Accounting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems (preferred)
  • Accountancy Knowledge (Turkish Certificate)
  • Knowledge of Turkish tax regulations.
  • Good level in English and fluent Turkish
